The phyCORE-i.MX7 System on Module supports the next-generation NXP i.MX 7 single and dual-core application processors. Within a compact form factor, the SOM supports on-board DDR3, NAND, NOR, eMMC, Gigabit Ethernet PHY, RTC, power management, and provides a high number of interfaces for connecting up peripherals, such as PCIe, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, displays, camera, and sensors. Ideal for patient monitoring, industrial HMI, portable test and measurement applications.

The i.MX 7 series applications processor from NXP is the first device in the market utilizing both the ARM Cortex-A7 and ARM Cortex-M4 cores. This heterogeneous multicore architecture enables a single-chip solution that can run sophisticated operating systems and provide real-time responsiveness and general-purpose programmable processing.
