The phyCARD-XS-AM335x SOM is a highly scalable solution delivering up to 720 MHz and supporting the Texas Instruments AM335x family of processors. Due to its identical break-out of interface signals per PHYTEC's innovative X-Arc embedded bus standard, the phyCARD-XS-AM335x is compatible with other phyCARD family members making resources available at a single, 100-pin connector including Ethernet, USB, UART, SPI, I2C, audio, SDIO/MMC, GPIO, JTAG, display (LVDS), and more.

The Texas Instruments’ AM335x family of microprocessors delivers up to 720 MHz high-performance, ultra-low power, and a highly integrated peripheral set. Featuring a SitaraTM ARM CortexTM-A8 CPU, the AM335x highlights PowerVRTM SGX530 for 2D and 3D graphics acceleration as well as PRU/ICSS supporting real-time protocol standards such as EtherCAT, PROFINET®, EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS®, Ethernet PowerlinkTM, and Sercos.
