Save time and costs when developing your charging solution for electromobility: phyVERSO-EVCS is a modular electronics platform that supports the latest standards such as V2G, PLC and OCPP. Functions such as load management and remote access are integrated and prepared. The electronics are suitable for AC/DC charging stations as well as for charging parks with megawatt charging.

EVCS-Cube: Evaluation platform for EV charging solutions

With phyVERSO-EVCS charging controller and PIONIX BaseCamp

Get started right away with the development and evaluation of your EV charging solution: With the EVCS Cube from PHYTEC in collaboration with PIONIX. The EVCS Cube is based on the modular charging solution phyVERSO-EVCS for AC/DC charging circuits and is supplied including an evaluation platform of the PIONIX BaseCamp Charger operating system and EVerest OpenSource software stack. It contains all the electronic components so that charging in Basic Charging Mode is possible straight away. The EVCS Cube is available in two versions: EVCS Cube Basic for direct AC charging and EVCS Cube PoC including DC charging.

phyVERSO-EVCS is based on series-tested and industrial-grade circuits and components. You can integrate the charging controller directly into your charging solutions for 1/2-port AC/DC. PHYTEC charging controller with OpenSource software!

All System on Modules and electronics from Phytec are delivered with a customized Yocto Linux operating system. Comprehensive functions such as remote updateability, security and cloud connection are already prepared upon request. 

Together with our partner Pionix, we also offer complete electronics including the modular open source software EVerest / BaseCamp for charging stations. The framework supports numerous protocols for integration with infrastructure, vehicles, payment systems, etc. Communication takes place via a local MQTT server.

Security features such as TPM 2.0 for Secure Boot and secure connections according to OCPP standards ensure reliable operation. The TLS connection to the vehicle via ISO15118 enables secure authentication via Plug and Charge. A Trusted Platform Module (TPM 2.0) ensures secure connections and storage of private keys.

Contact Pionix for hardware options such as smart card slots for additional security. Innovative functions such as local energy management and PV integration are made possible through open source.
