phyVERSO EVCS is a modular electronics platform for the quick, easy and cost-effective development of individual charging controllers for electromobility. Essential functions for the charging process, load management, communication with vehicles and for the connection to payment and billing systems are already prepared.

The phyVERSO-EVCS, which can be used as a reference design or development kit, supports two charging ports for AC/DC charging as well as standards such as V2G, PLC and OCPP. The operating system based on Yocto Linux offers functions for remote access and maintenance as well as comprehensive security functionalities. 

Part of the development kit is a license for Pionix BaseCamp, an operating system for EV charging controllers based on the Linux Foundation's open source software and firmware stack Everest. phyVERSO-EVCS was developed in cooperation between PHYTEC and PIonix with the aim of offering providers of charging stations and charging infrastructure as well as OEM suppliers and integrators a flexible and modular basis with which they can bring their own developments to series production more quickly and cost-effectively. They benefit from the know-how of the two companies and the comprehensive, integrated functionalities. Phytec offers individual development services for further development into a series product; Pionix is ​​available as a partner for software adaptations.
