Thanks to the expansion interfaces, you can expand the functionality of a single board computer with an additional adapter board. Additional serial interfaces such as CAN, I²C, SPI, SDIO and USB can thus be easily retrofitted. Thanks to the multiplex function of the processor, all interfaces can optionally also be used as I / O. The power supply of your phyBOARD can also take place via the extension connector.

In addition to the interface extension connector, all current phyBOARDs have an AV connector. The parallel display signals of the processor, options for connecting a resistive or capacitive touch and audio signals are available here. This also guarantees flexibility in case of changing your display. 

phyCORE modules that have an extensive carrier board available for commissioning can be expanded with a WiFi / BLE adapter, for example.

A display kit consisting of a display, adapter, ribbon cable and documentation is available for a number of our single board computers for a quick connection to the phyBOARD.

Rapid Development Kits can be expanded with parallel displays, optionally with resistive or capacitive touch.
