Your tasks:

  • As a material group manager, you are responsible for a material group and are responsible for the operational procurement of items and services as well as maintaining existing business relationships.
  • Scheduling, placing orders, monitoring deadlines and prices, drafting contracts and ensuring quality are all part of your daily work.
  • You research the market and develop new sources of procurement at home and abroad.
  • You will support PHYTEC development in component selection and other projects.

 

Your profile:

  • Professional experience in purchasing is an advantage, ideally in an electrical and/or mechanical environment
  • In your free time you enjoy working on technical topics. 
  • A completed technical vocational training is a plus for us
  • Sound MS Office knowledge, especially MS Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
  • Good German and English knowledge in spoken and written
  • Confident demeanor and negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers
  • Initiative and a reliable and independent way of working
