At the 2nd Phytec User Forum on April 24 and 25, 2024, in Mainz, experts from Phytec and partner companies will present possible solutions, invite participants to an open exchange, and open the doors to production and departments. How much security does my product need?
Day 1 of the user forum will focus on "Security on Embedded Devices." Presentations on technical aspects, from the security features of individual processors to the advantages and disadvantages of various device management systems and practical experiences from the development of embedded Linux-based industrial products, will be complemented by specialist presentations. Among those presenting will be attorney Stefan Sander, who will discuss the legal requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act and the NIS-2 Directive, and Dr. Carsten Emde, General Manager of OSADL, who will discuss the tension between open source and security.
New module standard and roadmap
On the second day, the Phytec team will provide insights into the development of the new phyCORE i.MX2 System on Modules and their daily work – for example, with a presentation on "Signal Integrity and Simulation of High-Speed Embedded Designs." Phytec will also present the roadmap for its future Products – including a new module standard. The day will be rounded off with a guest presentation from Phytec partner Micron Technology on optimizing eMMC configurations with regard to performance, endurance, and reliability.
