High computing power and energy efficiency, small form factor and price
The 36 mm x 36 mm Phytec System on Module phyCORE-i.MX 93 integrates the NXP i.MX 93 processor with two ARM Cortex-A55 CPUs with a clock speed of up to 1,7 GHz and a dedicated on-board real-time MCU with a Cortex-M33 processor core. It supports an LVDS display and MIPI CSI-2 cameras, as well as Ethernet, USB, and CAN-FD interfaces. An expansion strip enables expansion with customer-specific circuits and provides additional signals from the i.MX 93 processor. The solder module design is optimized for series production and cost, ensuring easy processing.
The solder module is directly soldered onto the phyBOARD-Nash development kit. Plated half-hole soldering technology is used. All cables, adapters, and connectors required for commissioning are included in the kit. Phytec also supports rapid development with support under the commissioning guarantee. As an NXP Platinum Partner, Phytec can also offer its customers comprehensive access to the processor manufacturer's tools and resources.
Development platform – flexible and versatile
The kit, based on the phyCORE-i.MX 93 module, is suitable for the development of numerous industrial applications, from building automation and HMIs to energy management systems. Thanks to its low power consumption, it is also ideal for mobile applications such as robots and solar-powered systems.
Phytec also offers its customers individual customizations, which can be carried out particularly quickly and cost-effectively thanks to the development and production location in Germany.
Comprehensive security and IoT functions prepared
A special feature of the Phytec kit is its comprehensive software features: In addition to the board support package based on Yocto Linux, customers receive extensive security features, for example: The securiPHY distro developed by Phytec includes security features such as Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Secure Boot, and functions for protection against unauthorized access and tampering. Also included is a RAUC client for update and device management.
These advance services support customers in the rapid development of secure, IoT-enabled devices and applications. Phytec offers expertise and services for its embedded components, including maintenance of the hardware and software equipment throughout its entire lifecycle.
The phyBOARD-Nash i.MX 93 Rapid Development Kit is the second development kit for the NXP i.MX 93 processor and is designed to utilize all of the processor's features. Also available is the phyBOARD segment, which emphasizes pin compatibility of the three Phytec SOMs with the NXP i.MX 93, NXP i.MX 6UL, and STMicroelectronics STM32MP13 processors.
