PHYTEC presents modular charging controllers at Power2Drive

Phytec presents modular charging controllers as well as electronics and Services for the rapid and cost-effective development of EV charging solutions. These include the phyVERSO-EVCS charging controller with an open-source operating system and the EVCS Cube, a complete development kit for charging solutions.
Phytec will also be showcasing System on Modules and development services for individual projects as well as OEM gateways that can be used in a wide range of applications relating to electromobility, energy management and infrastructure.

Embedded know-how for electromobility and charging infrastructure

The Phytec charging controller phyVERSO-EVCS can be integrated directly into standard products or customized. It supports AC and DC charging processes as well as standards such as V2G, PLC, and OCPP and is ready for the EVerest open-source charging stack. The Yocto Linux-based operating system offers remote access and maintenance features, as well as security functionalities.

For individual projects, Phytec offers comprehensive Services From series-optimized system-on-modules with features for security, update management, etc., to the development of complete electronics for charging solutions and infrastructure. Phytec leverages modular design principles and experience from numerous successful projects in electromobility and energy management.

On this basis, a number of Gateways which Phytec can use directly to develop OEMProducts for a wide range of applications. They are prepared for DIN rail installation and are supplied with housings that can be individually labeled upon request.

 

EVCS Cube: Direct entry into testing and development

For direct entry into component testing and the ProductsPhytec will be showing the EVCS Cube, which was developed as a joint project with the industrial partners Pionix, Frickly Systems, CuroCon and Alp. It is based on the phyVERSO-EVCS charging controller from Phytec and will be delivered including an evaluation version of the PIONIX BaseCamp Charger operating system The robust and spacious housing contains all the electronic components, allowing for immediate charging in basic charging mode.
The EVCS Cube is available in two versions:

  • EVCS-Cube PoC including DC charging: 4.990,00 euros (plus VAT)
  • EVCS-Cube Basic with AC charging electronics: 590,00 euros (plus VAT)

Together with its partners, Phytec supports companies in the fast and efficient implementation of individual charging solutions based on the EVCS Cube.
