Description:
Thermal imaging cameras open up completely new information. With the extremely inexpensive thermography modules VM-050 / VM-051, these advantages can also be used in your own series products. The integrated preprocessing of the modules provides fully corrected, directly usable temperature data as image information. These can be easily evaluated like a normal camera image.
The phyBOARD Nunki has two camera interfaces so that an additional camera - e.g. in the visible wavelength range - can be connected. By overlaying the images, additional information can be obtained and the subjective resolution of a display can be increased.
Develop your application with the phyBOARD Nunki with the variously supported NXP i.MX 6 processor under Linux.
The kit is based on components suitable for series production that can be transferred directly to series production. This minimizes the development effort. The phyBOARD itself has also been developed for series production and can be used as a single board computer. Phytec offers a cost-effective development service for any adjustments.
The kit includes the thermal imaging camera module VM-050-050-0. This camera delivers a corrected thermal image of 32 x 32 pixels with 8,9 fps. The value of each pixel represents the temperature of the object point. The thermal imaging module is supplied with a fully assembled, high-quality germanium optic (opening angle 33 °). If required, our sales team will be happy to put the kit together with other models from the VM-050 / VM-051 series.
The board can be operated with 12-24 V and, in addition to other interfaces, has an Ethernet and two USB 2.0 interfaces as well as a CAN interface. The phyCORE i.MX 6 module is plugged in interchangeably. Commissioning can take place via a directly connected HDMI monitor.
The kit contains the Linux BSP, which has been adapted and continuously maintained by Phytec, in series quality. Drivers for cameras and interfaces as well as the OpenCV and GStreamer image processing libraries are integrated in the BSP. For a direct start, the BSP is already installed ready for use.
