The industrial cameras of the USB-CAM series can be connected to any PC with a USB interface in just a few steps. A complex installation of additional hardware is not necessary. Power supply and data transfer take place via just one cable.
Thanks to the extremely compact metal housing with a size of only 36 x 36 x 25 (mm), the USB-CAMs can be installed in almost any installation location. It is fastened using four M3 threads or a supplied 1/4 "or M6 flange. The fastening holes are located on all four sides of the camera, so that even difficult installation situations can be mastered.
In practice, cameras with different resolutions are required depending on the task at hand. Previously, different camera models had to be selected and stocked for this.

Various sub-resolutions can be selected via software. In this way, the USB-CAM can be easily adapted to a wide variety of tasks.
A lower resolution can be achieved either by setting a readout window (ROI) or by combining pixels (binning).
The camera can be operated under Microsoft Windows10 and Linux. To use the cameras under Linux, please order using the "-UVC" option (example: "AK091-UVC").
As an option, the camera is also available with an external trigger input with which the recording time can be precisely controlled.
